NEW DELHI: It has been a seven-year-long wait for Delhi Capitals to earn a berth in the IPL playoffs, but their forged efficiency this season hasn't taken consultant Sourav Ganguly by means of wonder.

The former Indian skipper is assured of extra wins this season as a result of he feels the management has in spite of everything managed to get the squad's stability right.

Capitals are reaping the advantages of investing in young cricketers like Rishabh Pant, Shreyas Iyer, Prithvi Shaw and Kagiso Rabada. However, Ganguly doesn't feel the squad is inexperienced, and singled out Shikhar Dhawan's contribution.
"There is no such word called inexperience in this team. We have the right mix of youth and experience. It is also a huge boost to get an experienced player like Shikhar coming out and batting with so much confidence," Ganguly advised TOI, including: "Shikhar has been brilliant for us. His form was very crucial for the Capitals."
The former Indian captain also agreed that core avid gamers like Iyer, Pant and Shaw have gained in enjoy. Ganguly added, "Right after losing the Kings XI Punjab match, Capitals didn't react in panic by chopping and changing the team. They persisted with proven players and this team is really making us proud."
The Capitals' consultant also heaved praise on pacer Rabada, who is the main wicket-taker this IPL season with 25 scalps. Rabada had neglected out on taking part in for the franchisee final year due to damage.
"It's not only the batsmen who are making it count. The bowlers are doing excellent work. Rabada has been outstanding, so too the other fast bowlers. Axar Patel too has contributed in all departments," Ganguly mentioned.
