Rajkot: Once slapped, twice shy Congress chief Hardik Patel sought police coverage for his rally that traversed thru 22 villages of Jamnagar taluka on Sunday, fearing any other assault.
The PAAS chief, who was once slapped at a public assembly in Surendranagar district on Friday, wrote to Jamnagar superintendent of police mentioning his fears, and police equipped him good enough safety for the rally.
The assailant, who was once overpowered by way of Congress workers at the ‘Jan Akrosh Sabha’, was once later known as Tarun Gajjar, who claimed it was once an act of private vengeance. tnn
