Varanasi: The Akhil Bharatyia Ramrajya Parishad, on Monday, introduced that Shri Bhagwan Vedantacharya will contest from Varanasi Lok Sabha seat against PM Narendra Modi. The parishad had also launched its manifesto on Sunday.
Shankaracharya of Jyotish and Sharda Dwarka peeths Swami Swaroopanand Saraswati’s disciple Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati introduced the candidature of Shri Bhagwan Vedantacharya, an alumnus of BHU and Sampurnanad Sanskrit University and likewise the national convener of Akhil Bharatiya Sant Parishad.
A 10-member committee headed by Pt Ravi Trivedi has been formed for ballot campaigning, said the seer. The date of submitting nomination could be introduced later whilst the election place of job could be opened at Paduka Math, Kedar Ghat.
Holding Modi responsible for alleged demolition of temples for Kashi Vishwanath Dham (hall) undertaking the Parishad has decided to field its candidate against the PM. The parishad was formed by Dharma Samrat past due Swami Karpatriji Maharaj after independence.
