Self-immolation bid by poll aspirants foiled

MUZAFFARPUR: Two poll aspirants tried to immolate themselves in entrance of the place of business of the returning officer here after their nomination papers for Muzaffarpur Lok Sabha seat have been rejected on Saturday.

Alert police team of workers, however, foiled the suicide makes an attempt of the duo and arrested them. The two – Bilemsh Prasad of little-known Garib Janshakti Party and Arvind Kumar, an impartial – have been later produced within the courtroom of chief judicial magistrate from the place they have been sent to jail.
