The directorate of income intelligence arrested a customs officer and an employee at a jewelry store within the city within the case relating the seizure of 25kg gold worth Rs 8.5 crore on the Trivandrum International Airport on May 13. B Radhakrishnan, superintendent, air intelligence unit and Rasheed, an accountant on the PPM Chains Jewellery, Store were arrested and remanded in judicial custody on Friday.
