Farmers usually are the first to undergo the brunt of the alarming dip in water levels on the Opa basin. As the state has gained no vital pre-monsoon showers but and thus no water to replenish the rivers, Opa levels have dipped, main CM Pramod Sawant and PWD minister Deepak Pauskar to study the location each day.
