In addition to looking at new era within the air traffic and navigational wing to make stronger aircraft-handling capacity, Airports Authority of India (AAI) is making improvements to floor infrastructure by means of development parking bays, a fire station with watch tower and fast exit taxiways to extend the collection of planes that can be handled day-to-day from the current 350-400 to around 500 an afternoon within the coming years.
