The enforcement directorate performed searches at more than one places in Nagpur, Mumbai and Parbhani on Thursday in connection with an alleged Rs 328 crore farm mortgage fraud, perpetrated using identities of “bogus and dead farmers” via a company related to a political candidate, whose birthday party is an ally of the ruling BJP in the state.
