The town’s rickety, age-old foot over-bridges (FOB) are again on their ft after joint alternative operations. Dhakuria FOB, for example, has already long gone through a radical overhaul whilst two others — the FOB with escalator near Bijon Setu and the only at Sishu Udyan near Ultadanga — have been structurally reinforced.
