Behala, Garden Reach, Ekbalpore and Kidderpore will stay unaffected when the water supply to maximum parts of south Kolkata is shut down on Wednesday. The transferring of a water pipeline alongside the Majherhat bridge has necessitated the move, which can result in a day-long suspension of water supply to Jadavpur, Tollygunge, Bhowanipore, Golf Green, Chetla and Jodhpur Park.
