While Union minister of minority affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi not too long ago introduced a sequence of sops for minorities, together with training of madrassa lecturers in subjects like science and mathematics, over 25,000 lecturers in eight,500 government-aided madrassas in UP are still waiting for cost of their honorarium for over 3 years through the central government.
