Micro review: 'Queen Bee' by Dorothea

New York Times bestselling author Dorothea Benton Frank is again along with her 20th novel, Queen Bee this summer. The guide is ready in Sullivans Island, where curiously the author used to be born and raised.
Queen Bee is the story of Holly McNee Jensen-- a instructor and bee-keeper who is living a quiet existence at Sullivans Island along with her difficult mom, whom she calls the Queen Bee. To keep away from all of the drama and pressure at home, Holly's sister Leslie married and moved out. Meanwhile, Holly falls for her widower neighbour Archie who is living along with his two younger boys. Everything used to be going well till Leslie leaves her husband and is derived again home. Leslie and Holly have opposite tempraments and to make things worse, Leslie too falls for the neighbour. Scandalised with all of the chaos, Holly is desperate to find a strategy to her problems and he or she realises after all that happiness may also be found when it's least expected in existence.

Dorothea Benton Frank's Queen Bee is a heart-warming and a laugh story of friendship, love and self-discovery.

How critics view the guide:

Publishers Weekly writes, "Full of Low Country flavor and brilliantly imagined characters, this laugh-out-loud-hilarious novel with a wistful edge will satisfy anyone who wants to see flawed people getting second chances."

New York Journal of Books says, “This is an author who by no means fails to entertain.”

USA Today says, “Something about her novels simply seems to mention summer.”
