Amdavadis aren't prone to get respite from heat any time quickly as an orange alert has been issued for the town for the following two days. Heat wave caution has also been issued in several parts of the state for Saturday. The city recorded 44.2°C maximum temperature and 29.8°C minimal temperature.
This is the best possible within the month of June as compared to 2017 and 2018. Surendranagar used to be the freshest position within the state at 45.three°C.Gandhinagar recorded 44.8°C, followed via Amreli at 43.8°C. Rajkot, Bhuj and Kandla registered 44.2°C, the same as Ahmedabad .
Jayanta Sarkar, Regional Director of IMD stated, “Heat wave caution has been issued for Friday and Saturday in several parts of the state including, Banaskantha, Sabarkantha, Rajkot, Surendranagar, Amreli and Kutch. Orange alert has been issued for Ahmedabad for subsequent two days. InGujarat , monsoon has been behind schedule via about one week.”
