Mention madrasa and one would believe kids clad in conventional attire – a kurta-pyjama and a skull cap, busy finding out nuances of the faith. But with state government making an attempt to connect these younger boys with mainstream training for the betterment of children studying in the Islamic seminaries, the state madrasas are all set to get a makeover. CM Ashok Gehlot said kids studying in madrasas should not be disadvantaged of contemporary training. For that purpose, the state government has decided that these present Islamic seminaries will be became good madrasas.
