Ola and Uber strike: All you need to know

The transport wing of the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena has called for a strike of drivers of cab aggregators Uber and Ola beginning Sunday nighttime in Mumbai.
Uber had given giant assurances to the drivers, however as of late they're not able to hide their prices. They have invested Rs Five-7 lakh and were expecting to make Rs 1.Five lakh a month. But drivers are not able to make even half of this because of the mismanagement through those firms," Sanjay Naik of Maharashtra Navnirman Vahatuk Sena mentioned.



In Mumbai alone there are over 45,000 such cabs however a droop in business has noticed a drop of about 20 in line with cent of their numbers.


The cab hailing firms have thus far stayed clear of interfering within the subject.


Police has issued notices to leaders of the union underneath section 149 of CrPC in terms of unlawful assembly in Mumbai.

Drivers in other cities like New Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Pune among others also are taking part within the strike.
