HYDERABAD: A 16-year-old mason was arrested for sexually assaulting a minor lady, of the same age, and impregnating her. The incident got here to light when the boy took her to a health center in Moosapet to have the pregnancy terminated on Tuesday.
The victim and the juvenile offender are from Baba Sailani Nagar in Borabanda. Police said the victim had not too long ago not too long ago finished IX class. The juvenile offender is a school drop out, and has been working as a mason.
The offender and the victim have recognized each and every other since early life. During the previous twelve months, the offender have been in an intimate dating along with her. When the woman instructed the boy about her pregnancy, he took her to a health center in Moosapet on Tuesday for termination of pregnancy.
Staff on the health center alerted the police after realising that each the woman and the offender were minors. Police reached the health center and took the boy into custody. The lady was sent to Bharosa centre for counselling. Based on her observation, police arrested the juvenile offender underneath sections 376 (rape) and 313 (causing miscarriage with out girl's consent) of the IPC and the POCSO Act. DNA samples of the victim, and the foetus shall be collected as proof.
