CHENNAI: Actor Rajinikanth's space at Poes Garden has been introduced underneath safety quilt after a few fringe outfits planned to besiege his space condemning his commentary on Tuticorin anti-Sterlite protests.
Rajinikanth, who visited the injured protesters at Tuticorin government medical institution on Wednesday, mentioned he knew it used to be anti-social parts who were chargeable for the violence on May 22 which ended in the killing of 13 other folks within the police firing.
His commentary drew complaint from quite a lot of political leaders, and a few fringe outfits said that they would lay siege to his space.
Following this, a large number of policemen were posted close to his space. Even the actor's fanatics were not allowed any place close to space since morning.
Layers of barricades were positioned on the highway.
