“Mangalore has been ranked as the most productive town in solid waste control below the Swachh Survekshan initiative of the central govt. But in relation to waste segregation, we've got infrequently reached any milestone and we've got much to do in the section. Hence we've got undertaken this main initiative to launch a comprehensive web site for providing the proper information to the general public relating to dealing with waste in a systematic and sustainable means. It offers ready reference on 200+ waste materials at the side of connecting the people to the native recycling centres in the town. Though this web site is at the moment Mangalore centric, in the future this web site may also be scaled up state vast after which national. We even have higher plans to actively promote this web site and introduce additional verticals and lines,” Abdullah A Rehman mentioned.
