RAJPIPLA/SURAT: A 182-metre-long and 11-feet-wide tricolour was once unfurled at Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat Bhavan near the Statue of Unity of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel at Kevadia Colony in Narmada district on the Republic Day on Saturday. The flag was once unfurled by a gaggle of youths from Maharashtra.
Dr. Parikshit Deshpande instructed newshounds that they decided to unfurl the tricolour on the international's tallest statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel a month ago and that it took them 15 days to make it.
At least, seven lakh other folks have visited the Statue of Unity from November 2018 to January 2019, resources said.
