TRICHY: An unidentified man riding on a bicycle died in a hit-and-run twist of fate at Panjappur at the Trichy-Chennai bypass on Tuesday night time.
The man, who sustained critical head injuries, was rushed to Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Government Hospital (MGMGH) in Trichy the place he died around 10.45pm, police mentioned.
The twist of fate came about when the person was looking to cross the street on his bicycle. Police mentioned it was now not clear which car had hit him.
A case has been registered.
