Nagpur University forgets to deliver question paper

NAGPUR: In any other goof, Nagpur University (NU) examination section forgot to deliver query paper for Bachelor of Journalism first semester resulting in a delay of over one-and-a-half hour on Tuesday.

Students complained that they were not given sufficient time beyond regulation even though it used to be the college which used to be at fault.

The incident took place at several examination centres around the city and different three districts affiliated to the NU.


The paper used to be scheduled for afternoon shift of 2.30 to five.30pm. Students had reached their centres on time for ‘Principles of Mass Communication’ paper. However, they have been saved looking forward to over an hour leading to chaos at several centres.


Director of examinations and analysis Neeraj Khaty, who's mostly away from the examination section, didn’t resolution to TOI’s calls and SMS.


Officials mentioned the confidential section had forgotten to deliver the query paper online and learned the mistake after receiving calls from the centres. Another paper having identical nomenclature for Bachelor of Mass Communication is scheduled for March 22 which ended in the confusion. There have been additionally unconfirmed reports of query paper of MA in Mass communication being not on time.
