Ludhiana: Residents of Bondli village and other neighbouring villages took out a protest rally on Monday and blocked the Ludhiana Chandigarh road_this used to be to press for his or her call for of development of an overbridge.

Sihala stated that they didn’t want to block the street for long as examinations of students have been happening so the protestors blocked the Ludhiana Khanna and Chandigarh street He added that the street development company, NHAI officers had come to the spot where street is bobbing up and verbally assured, however the villagers have demanded a written assurance.
Amandeep Singh, a villager stated the government are proposing to construct a crossing at the level with red mild, “We do not agree to this sort of proposal as visitors on highway may cause accidents at the spot.’’
