MUMBAI: Maharashtra Congress MLA Kalidas Kolambkar on Wednesday expressed unhappiness with the birthday celebration management and stated he'll campaign for Shiv Sena candidate Rahul Shewale, who's contesting the Lok Sabha poll from Mumbai-South Central seat.
There has been speculation that Kolambkar, who's six-term legislator from Wadala assembly seat in Mumbai and an in depth aide of former leader minister Narayan Rane, might join the BJP.
Around a month back, he put up a banner at his office with an image of senior BJP chief and leader minister Devendra Fadnavis.
"I am deeply disappointed with the Congress leadership," Kolambkar told reporters.
The MLA stated he has now not gained any conversation up to now from his birthday celebration management concerning the Lok Sabha polls.
"The Congress candidate (from Mumbai-South Central seat) Eknath Gaikwad also did not call me or send any message. I extend my support to Shewale and will campaign for him," he stated.
Polling within the Mumbai-South Central Lok Sabha seat will take place on April 29.
