PORVORIM: The state cupboard on Friday licensed a suggestion to hike remuneration to teachers and assistant teachers appointed on contract foundation at Goa Medical College (GMC) and clinic, and Goa Dental College (GDC) and clinic.
Speaking to newshounds, leader minister Manohar Parrikar stated contract teachers at GMC and GDC will earn Rs 95,000 per thirty days, whereas assistant teachers will earn Rs 80,000 per thirty days. The hike was proposed as remuneration to regular teachers and assistant teachers on implementation of the 7th Pay Commission's advice.
