Noida: A day after 12-year-old Kritika Mishra died after falling into a pit of molten waste from a hot-mix plant, investigations have found that the plant that was once running illegally had already been sealed a few years again.
Yet, the plant was once supplying tar to the contractor of the UP Gate to Raj Nagar Extension increased street being built through the Ghaziabad Development Authority. On Friday, officials from the district management and Noida Authority visited the spot and sealed the premises again.
"The Noida Authority had sealed this plant a few years ago. However, due to laxity of officials, it secretly started functioning at night time.
