Coimbatore: A 68-year-old guy was once arrested on Thursday for duping five youths of Rs 7.60 lakh by promising them jobs in Singapore.
The arrested was once identified as N Venkatachalam, of Saraswathi Nagar at Kovaipudur right here. He had worked in Singapore a couple of years in the past. Believing this, Mangayarkarasai requested Charley, Ganesh, Karthick and Arockiyaraj Gladies Johnson, all hailing from Trichy, and Murugan from Pudhucherry to fulfill Venkatachalam for jobs in Singapore. All of them were degree holders.
Venkatachalam took Rs 1.60 lakh every from 4 of them and Rs 1.20 lakh from Murugan and gave them promissory be aware, mentioning he had gained cash from the youths in February 2016 for purchasing them jobs in a foreign country.
