PATNA: A minor girl (7) used to be allegedly raped through her 18-year-old neighbour at Madhopur village underneath the Maniyari police station house in Muzaffarpur last week. The youth, identified as Mohammad Panbabu, is yet to be arrested.
The incident took place on Wednesday last, however an FIR used to be lodged through the minor's mom on Tuesday. "After several failed attempts to resolve the matter by attending panchayat meets in the village, the victim's family approached police. A medical examination of the girl has been conducted and we are waiting for the report," Maniyari police station SHO Amit Kumar stated on Wednesday and added raids were on to nab the accused.
According to the FIR, the woman, who used to be enjoying with her more youthful siblings outdoor her house, used to be nowhere to be noticed within the evening. After an hour, she used to be discovered lying in a pool of blood in a nearby paddy field.
"The victim identified her neighbour who had allegedly taken her to the paddy field by offering biscuits," the SHO stated.
