Multiple groups of National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Thursday raided various properties of former JD(U) MLA Sunil Pandey’s two brothers – former MLC and LJP functionary Hulas Pandey and Santosh Pandey – in Patna, Buxar, Ara, Rohtas and Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh in connection with alleged smuggling of AK-47 assault rifles from the Central Ordnance Depot (COD) at Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, to Munger in Bihar.
