AHMEDABAD: Two incidents marked the first-ever competitive exams for direct recruitment of police inspectors via GPSC in Ahmedabad on Sunday. In one incident the bag of a candidate, Dhaval Shehri was once stolen. It contained important paperwork and his celphone. It happened while Shehri was once busy within the exams at AB Vidyalaya, Bapunagar.
In every other incident, Siddharth Panchal, 24, died of a massive center assault while appearing for the examination at Bhavna School in Shahibaug. Panchal a resident of Suvarth Swami Society in Odhav was once the only son of Jayesh Panchal, who works in a personal corporate. "The family is in deep shock after the death of their young son," said one in every of his relations.
Meanwhile, Shehri, a resident of Naranpura, has lodged a criticism that while appearing for the exams the candidates had been made to put their bags in a room located on the first flooring of AB Vidyalaya. "When he returned his bag was missing. We have asked for CCTV footage to identify the thief," said inspector Vijay Jadeja of Bapunagar police station.
