THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan has confident 50.13 lakh electorate will obtain social welfare pension before Onam and Bakrid.


He said that until Monday, the government has disbursed 62% of the social welfare pensions to all of the eligible. He said that the distribution can be finished to all of the beneficiaries before Onam. In his Facebook submit, He said that the government has additionally taken steps to disburse pageant allowance, bonus and wage in advance to all of the government staff with none lengthen.


He said that the government has a commitment of disbursing Rs 3100 crore as pensions to 50.13 eligible electorate. He said that of this, 52% of the pensions can be disbursed in the course of the banks and the remainder can be disbursed at the properties of the beneficiaries in the course of the cooperative banks.


He said that while the pensions to the banks have nearly been finished, the remainder pensions to be disbursed to the homes are speedy progressing, the manager minister said. This can be finished via August 29, he said.


The state government disburses social welfare pensions including agriculture labour pension, Indira Gandhi national old-age pension, Indira Gandhi national disabled pension scheme- for each bodily and mentally challenged persons, pension to unmarried ladies above 50 years and Indira Gandhi national widow pension scheme.
