NEW DELHI: The deputation allowance given to central executive workers has been higher by over two-fold to Rs 4,500 from the prevailing Rs 2,000 monthly, in line with an order issued by the group of workers ministry.
The transfer is based on the advice of the seventh central pay commission.
"In case of deputation within the same station, the deputation (duty) allowance will be payable at the rate of five per cent of basic pay subject to a maximum of Rs 4,500 per month," it mentioned.
This allowance will likely be payable at the charge of 10 per cent of fundamental pay, matter to a maximum of Rs nine,000 monthly, in case of deputation involving trade of station, the Department of Personnel and Training order issued on Friday mentioned.
"The ceilings will further rise by 25 per cent each time dearness allowance is increased by 50 per cent," it mentioned.
