GHAZIABAD: A dashing Alto plunged around 20 toes beneath NH-24 in Ghaziabad on Saturday after its motive force it appears misplaced keep watch over over the automobile. The car swept off two persons riding a bicycle because it hurtled down the facet of NH-24.
The two bicycle riders sustained accidents in the accident as they landed into bushes in the ravine alongside the highway. "The Alto was ascending a steep incline on the highway when the driver lost control and the car fell to the left of the highway. The two men on the bicycle were factory workers in Kavi Nagar. Police found it difficult to locate the men in the bushes as it was pitch dark. A crane was later summoned to pull out the car to the road," said a cop at the PCR.
The injured bicycle riders had been identified by means of police as Balram Singh of Jharkhand and Yashpal Singh of Pauri Garhwal. A minor vehicular jam ensued at the highway following the accident which was once cleared by means of site visitors cops. Police said efforts are underway to track the absconding Alto motive force. It is suspected the accident generally is a results of drunken riding.
