"It is absolutely right, because we play so much cricket that we do not get much preparation time when we go overseas to play. But as an international cricketer, this is also a challenge," Dhoni said here.

"It takes some time to get used to, but if you see this team, there are many cricketers who have played overseas and it helps a lot. If they get six to eight or 10 days, it is good, but whatever time they get, I think they will do well," he said in keeping with a query about Kohli's remark.

The former India captain used to be chatting with reporters on the sidelines of a match played at Kunzer cricket floor, 35km from Srinagar, in north Kashmir's Baramulla district.

Dhoni used to be the chief visitor on the finals of Chinar Cricket Premier League, organised through Srinagar-based Chinar Corps of the Army.

"This time when the (Test) team leaves for South Africa, they will only get some time to prepare before playing the matches. The ODI team after that will also want to try to get seven to eight days because the conditions are different there, there is more bounce," he said.

Asked whether or not there should be a bilateral collection between India and Pakistan, Dhoni said it should be perfect left to the government.

He said in relation to a cricket match between the arch-rivals, it turns into much more than sports activities.

"When it comes to India-Pakistan cricket, it is not just sports, but becomes much bigger than that. It is not a simple decision, but a diplomatic and a political decision," he said.

"So, it is a big decision and I think we should leave it to the government to decide. If the government decides, we will go and play and if they decide against it, we will play some other series," he added.

He said when the Indian cricket crew plays, greater than the wearing facet, the economic facet is also concerned.

"It's now not simply cricket and to mention that it's simply cricket, could be mistaken. It is much more than that and it affects economic system a lot.

"It is alleged that sports activities should be refrained from politics, but in relation to cricket and involvement of Indian cricket crew - be it a bilateral collection or any giant tournament - it isn't simply cricket because anywhere we move to play, we generate a lot of money and in the end that money flows into the economic system," said Dhoni.

In reaction to a query about Suresh Raina's feedback that he often will get indignant, Dhoni said he performed himself consistent with the situation.

"We additionally revel in throughout the dressing room, we talk, the pitch-level is from time to time prime and from time to time low. The which means of cool that we associate is calm and if now not cool then an indignant one," he said.

"There are many zones in the midst of it the place you revel in and make a laugh. Once (I'm enjoying) in the floor, I do not comic story round, but throughout the dressing room I revel in a lot. So, I conduct myself consistent with how I feel I should conduct myself in numerous areas," he said.
