RANCHI: Ajay Kumar, who used to be appointed as president of the state Congress on Thursday, might find handling senior celebration leaders and winning the consider of grass-roots workers a daunting process. Besides, he has to arrange the grand outdated celebration for long run electoral battles towards its arch rival, the BJP.
An afternoon after the exchange of guard, Kumar's predecessor, Sukhdeo Bhagat, met AICC vice chairman Rahul Gandhi in New Delhi on Friday. After the assembly, Bhagat stated, "I have happily passed on the baton to Kumar." He added, "During my tenure, we started gaining grounds and were able to win two byelections."
Bhagat stated, "We also strengthened our party by organising frequent rallies in the state capital."
