KANPUR: A 38-year-old journalist - Naveen Gupta running with a national Hindi daily was shot useless in Billhaur house of the district on Thursday evening.
Police have registered a case of murder in opposition to unidentified males and rounded up nearly half-a-dozen suspects for an early leap forward, superintendent of police (rural) GP Singh told TOI.
Chief minister Yogi Adityanath has directed the state DGP to observe up the investigation into the murder.
