Tirupur: A 25-year-old migrant labourer from Odisha, whose marriage was once scheduled to be carried out next week, committed suicide within the city on Friday.
Narayan Achari, a resident of Puri district in Odisha, had migrated to the dollar city eight years in the past. He was once staying in Sheriff Colony and was once running as a tailor in a garment production unit, police mentioned. "His brother Santhosh, who was staying with him, had left to their native place before Diwali. Narayan remained in Tirupur. After constructing a house in Odisha, Narayan's family had found an alliance for him. His marriage was scheduled on the second week of November," a police officer mentioned.
On Friday morning, Narayan's buddies discovered him placing from the roof. He was once intended to depart for Odisha on Sunday.
The body was once despatched to the Tirupur Government Hospital for postmortem. TNN
