Kerala: Trains to be regulated from Saturday

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Railways has announced legislation and diversion of positive trains to facilitate works at a number of railway divisions from Saturday.

Due to line block/power block to facilitate works between Etakkot and Kannur South railway stations, train no. 16312 Kochuveli - Shri Ganganagar specific, scheduled to depart Kochuveli on April 20 and May 5, will likely be regulated for 1 hour and 20 mins via Palakkad department.


Train no.16606 Nagercoil - Mangaluru Central Ernad specific, scheduled to depart Nagercoil on April 21 and 30, will likely be regulated for 50 mins via Palakkad Division due to works between Kasaragod and Kumbala railway stations. The train will reach Mangaluru one hour late.

Also, train no. 22150 Pune - Ernakulam Express will likely be regulated for 1 hour and 20 mins via Palakkad department on April 25 and 29. The train will arrive late via 1 hour and 40 mins in Shoranur. Train no 16305 Ernakulam - Kannur specific will likely be regulated for 1 hour and 30 mins between Ernakulam and Shoranur from April 21 to 28, due to works in Shoranur backyard.

Also, train services will likely be diverted in connection with doubling works between Guntur - Tenali railway stations in South Central Railway. Train no.17230 Hyderabad - Thiruvananthapuram Central Sabari specific, scheduled to depart Hyderabad on April 21 and 24, will likely be diverted and run by the use of Guntur, Krishna Canal railway station and Tenali railway stations.


Train no.17229 Thiruvananthapuram Central - Hyderabad Sabari specific, scheduled to depart Thiruvananthapuram Central on April 21 and 24, will likely be diverted and run by the use of Tenali, Krishna Canal railway station and Guntur stations.


Train no. 07116 Kochuveli - Hyderabad particular train, that will go away Kochuveli on April 22, will run by the use of Tenali, Vijayawada, Kazipet and Secunderabad instead of Tenali, Guntur, Nadikudi and Secunderabad course.


Train no. 07117 Hyderabad - Ernakulam particular train, scheduled to depart Hyderabad on April 24, will run by the use of Secunderabad, Kazipet, Vijayawada and Tenali stations.
