COIMBATORE: The widespread alternatives of town students travelling to the United Kingdom to pursue education are laptop science engineering and knowledge technology, stated the British Council's higher education head, Sonu Hemanii, right here on Sunday.
"The most popular choices are computer science and information technology. Students are interested in aeronautical, mechanical and civil engineering too," stated Sonu on the 'Study UK Exhibition 2017' organised by means of the British Council within the town. She stated, "The good thing about Coimbatore is that we get quality students from here."
Sharath Meppallil, senior global officer, global pupil recruitment place of job, University of Surrey, was of the similar opinion. "Of the 22 students who have come to me so far, 19 inquired about engineering," he stated.
