NEW DELHI: It is said that no person can get away the law. Cops in Uttar Pradesh's Jalaun appear to take this homily very significantly, as exhibited after they arrested a herd of donkeys for allegedly destroying jail property.
These donkeys have been put at the back of bars for the gross misdemeanour of consuming and destructive sure treasured plants within the Urai district jail's compound. After being detained for 4 days, the donkeys have been launched on Monday following a neighborhood flesh presser's intervention within the matter.
"These donkeys had destroyed some very expensive plants which our senior officer had arranged for planting inside jail and despite warnings the owner let loose his animals here so we detained the donkeys," head constable of Urai Jail R Okay Mishra used to be quoted as saying via news agency ANI.
The donkeys have been arrested on November 24, but if their owner Kamlesh went to Urai jail to hunt their liberate, the police refused to free the felonious animals.
Kamlesh then approached a neighborhood flesh presser for assist, who accompanied him to secure the discharge of the donkeys earlier as of late.
