UP govt to take over district hospital after March, will retain 50 percent staff

NOIDA: The UP government has determined to take over the district health facility in Sector 30 after March next yr.
After the decision is applied, the health facility which is recently being run with the finances of the Noida Authority - it had refused to fund the only government multi-speciality health facility within the city- will not require the finances from the authority, but will be funded by means of the well being department of the state government immediately.

The choice used to be taken in a high-level meeting of the Principal Secretary (industries) Alok Sinha, Principal Secretary (medical well being and circle of relatives welfare) Prashant Trivedi, leader medical superintendent (CMS) of the health facility Ajay Agrawal, financial controller of the Noida Authority Manmohan Mishra held in Sinha's place of job on Friday evening.

After the meeting, Agrawal instructed TOI that the state government has determined to take over the health facility after March and the authority will fund the bills of the only government multi-speciality health facility within the city till then.

Fifty according to cent of the body of workers which has been deployed within the health facility and is on the pay-roll of the authority will be absorbed by means of the state government below the Uttar Pradesh Health Strengthening System Project (UPHSSP), he said.

He said that the remainder of the body of workers will be absorbed by means of the Noida Authority.

The meeting which started round 4:30 pm went on till overdue within the evening.

Claiming that the Noida Authority used to be "not equipped to monitor or run a hospital", officers had said that they had written to the UP well being department soliciting for it to take over the management of the Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar district health facility or district health facility, Sector 30.

The move has, on the other hand, resulted in confusion amongst over 100 staffers who are on the pay-roll of the Noida Authority who are questioning if the Authority will remove them from its pay-rolls or shift them elsewhere.

"I do not know what is going to happen. We are not prepared for shifting. What if the Authority removes us from its rolls?" said a technician who is recently being paid by means of the Noida Authority.
