GURGAON: A fetus used to be present in a sewer line in Sarhaul village on Monday when the sewer used to be being cleaned by means of MCG staff. Police have lodged an FIR in opposition to an unidentified woman.
Around 12pm on Monday when staff were cleaning the sewer line, two of them, Subhash and Santosh, discovered a "baby-like figure" and informed Mukesh, their supervisor about it, and then the latter reached the spot and informed the police.
An FIR used to be registered beneath Section 318 (concealment of start by means of secret disposal of lifeless body) of the IPC at Sector 18 police station in opposition to an unidentified woman and kept the fetus in mortuary.
"We are investigating the matter," said ASI Dev Charan, who's investigating the case.
