Petrol pump staff robbed of Rs 45,000 at gunpoint

GURGAON: A typical start of the day for a petroleum pump manager and salesman took an unsightly turn at Bharat Petrol Pump on Chandu-Farrukhnagar highway on Friday, when the duo used to be held hostage at gunpoint and robbed of Rs 45,000 by way of 3 masked robbers.

According to Sandeep, who works as a salesman at fuel station, a white colured Hyundai Creta reached petrol pump at 6.30 am and one man asked him to fill diesel in automotive for Rs 1,020. After this accused gave him a Rs 2,000 notice. As Sandeep used to be disposing of alternate to be returned, two people were given down from automotive and headed in opposition to manager's cabin. When Sandeep approached the person, sitting in automotive, with the alternate, the accused pointed a pistol in opposition to him and asked him to hand over all money. Sandeep refused which led to accused hitting him on his head with the pistol butt.


Meanwhile, the other two accused returned from manager's cabin with money and the air gun saved there. The salesman claimed that the chief used to be also thrashed by way of the accused as he objected to the robbery attempt.


On Sandeep's criticism, an FIR used to be registered towards the trio beneath sections 392 (robbery), 394 (voluntarily inflicting hurt in committing robbery), 34 (not unusual goal) of the IPC and 25-54-59 of Arms Act at Rajendra Park police station.


Police assets revealed, all the incident used to be recorded on CCTV put in at fuelling station and cops are seeking to identify the registration number of the automobile as the complainant may just not notice down the same.
