GREATER NOIDA: A three-year-old child was allegedly raped through a "frequent visitor" to the home who locked her five-year-old sister in a room in Greater Noida.
The alleged assault happened when the youngsters's grandmother had long gone to the marketplace and the 2 had been on my own in the home.
Sources said the girls stayed with their grandparents in a Greater Noida colony while their father worked as a labourer in Mahoba district. The women' mother passed on to the great beyond a couple of years ago.
Local residents said the accused had entered the home round 11.30am when he spotted that the 2 youngsters had been on my own at home.
"He is a frequent visitor to their house. He entered the house and tried to assault the elder child first. But she apparently bit his hand. He locked the elder girl in the other room and raped the younger sister," said Eta I RWA president Deepak Bhati.
Alerted through the lady's cries, when neighbours began gathering, the accused fled the home prior to any individual could see him, resources said.
When the grandmother arrived, she saw the kid bleeding and went to the RWA individuals who known as up police. Sources said the lady and her grandmother had been made to take a seat at the flooring of the police station as the cops stored asking questions. They allegedly delayed sending the kid to the clinic for a clinical test.
"The elder girl identifies the youth by face but doesn't know his name. He was a regular visitor. We will lodge an FIR once we receive a written complaint," Surajpur SHO Akhilesh Pradhan said.
