KARWAR: A trivial study room struggle between two Class III scholars on Tuesday took an ugly flip and their oldsters fought with stones and chappals over the next two days at a college in Uttara Kannada district's Ankola taluk.
The incident took place in a college in Harwada village. Rahul (title changed), a scholar, allegedly assaulted his classmate Vikas (title changed) within the faculty on Tuesday. On attaining house, Vikas complained to his mom about the incident. On Wednesday, Vikas' mom and grandmother trooped into the college and allegedly beat up Rahul with chappals.
This angered Rahul's oldsters, who complained to the college authorities. The School Development and Monitoring Committee referred to as a oldsters' assembly on Thursday. As soon as the assembly started around 10am, each side started hurling accusations at every different.
Ignoring the appeals made by schoolteachers and committee contributors, oldsters abused every different. Women allegedly chased Vikas' mom and grandmother out of the hall and assaulted them. Police mentioned Vikas' mom started attacking her competitors with stones hid in her handbag. Soon, it used to be a free-for-all with males allegedly upsetting different ladies to target Vikas' mom and grandmother. In the next 20 minutes, rival groups allegedly attempted to throw fistful of soil into every different's eyes. The faculty group of workers and the committee referred to as police, who took the ones involved within the struggle to the station. Parents were let off once they signed an enterprise that they would not disturb peace at the faculty campus.
