Coimbatore: Two criminals, who have been arrested for robbery via the city police in January, had been detained underneath section 14 of the Goondas Act.
Sudharsanan and Sundharrajan, each citizens of Ramji Nagar in Trichy, have been arrested via the R S Puram police underneath sections 392, 397 and 506 (ii) (felony intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code on January 14. Police stated they have been routine offenders of consideration diversion circumstances. They have been booked underneath more than a few circumstances across the state and in other states reminiscent of Maharashtra and Gujarat.
On the suggestions of R S Puram inspector (crime) Easwaran and assistant commissioner (crime) Balamurugan and deputy commissioner P Perumal and commissioner of Coimbatore town police Okay Periaiah, the duo has been detained underneath the Goondas Act. The order was once served to them on Thursday.
