An hour after BJP district president CR Nandakumar’s SUV used to be set on hearth at Balan Nagar in Peelamedu, a businessman’s SUV and two-wheeler have been set on hearth at Selvapuram on Wednesday.
Police suspect that the assault used to be aimed toward BJP’s district industry union president Subbu, who stayed proper next to the businessman’s space.
Police stated the businessman, Umapathi, had parked his SUV and scooter at the porch of his space at Indira Nagar in Selvapuram. Miscreants poured petrol at the rear facet of the SUV and the scooter prior to environment them on hearth at 3.45am.
