NEW DELHI: The Crime Branch has written to Google to establish the IP address of a Gmail account that used to be used to send mails to the CBSE chairperson on March 28 caution concerning the leaks. Three days later, some other unsigned packet used to be sent to the CBSE place of job at Rouse Avenue mentioning cell numbers of the individuals who had supposedly gained the paper.
The board, however, didn’t cancel the paper and informed the police one and a half hours after the examination.
Police suspect the position of an insider. Sources said the mails may just also have come from one of the crucial lecturers reportedly part of the WhatsApp team in which the papers had been circulated. Police be expecting the guidelines from Google to assist them trace the sender.
During questioning, the CBSE’s controller of examination advised police that exam papers are generally transported in sealed packets, which can handiest be reduce open. Sources said the photographs circulating on the WhatsApp groups looked to be clicked after striking the papers on a bed.
