AHMEDABAD: To ship out the message that law enforcement officials, particularly ladies law enforcement officials, should never be messed with, DySP Manjeeta Vanzara took out a procession of the boys who had assaulted her whilst she was once probing a case of dacoity in Kadi town of Mehsana. The males’s palms were tied as they marched.
According to police resources, Kadi police had arrested Shaikh Imamuddin, Maqbul Vepari, and Hanit Qadar in a case of dacoity which had occurred on March 13.
“When the accused were taken for additional investigation to the scene of crime, some native citizens pelted stones on the law enforcement officials,” a police source mentioned. “However the law enforcement officials fought again and didn't let the accused get away. In the attack, Manjeeta’s proper hand was once fractured.”
On Wednesday, Kadi police arrested two males allegedly concerned in the attack. Manjeeta, together with her proper hand in a sling, publicly shamed the accused via parading them on the streets.
