AHMEDABAD: With the aim to ensure higher transparency and potency, the state executive has already proposed e-assessment of taxpayers. The intention of e-assessment is to eliminate the human interface between taxpayers and tax creditors, stated director common of income-tax (systems), Harish Kumar, addressing an interactive session on ‘Roadmap for Eassessment’ arranged at Ahmedabad Management Association (AMA) on Wednesday.
Eminent tax consultant, Mukesh Patel, together with predominant leader commissioner of revenue tax – Gujarat, A K Jaiswal, and other senior DGIT officials and representatives and heads of quite a lot of tax professionals’ associations, have been provide on the event.
Praising e-assessment, Jaiswal stated, “It was once PM Modi who offered the speculation of a faceless assessment machine.
