GST council meet: Existing return filing system extended; e-way bill rollout in April

NEW DELHI: The existing machine of filing GST returns has been prolonged for some other 3 months, finance minister Arun Jaitley said on Saturday, after the 26th GST council meeting held in the capital town. In some other announcement, the finance minister said that tax exemption for exporters has been prolonged by six months. In October, the council had determined that exporters pays a nominal Integrated GST (IGST) price of zero.1 in keeping with cent on service provider exports till March 31.
